AMEN! If I could do just prefinished flooring, that is all I would do. But so many of the higher end homeowners here want finished on site. Lately, I can earn more laying factory finished floors than sanding and finishing them. I keep away from solvent based products as much as possible but sometimes, there isn't a good alternative ( like stain ). Hoping site finishing will someday be a thing of the past but I'll probably be retired by then.
