My brand new oak floor (brushed and oiled) has faded where I cleaned it with a damp cloth I did rub quite hard, but did not expect this to happen. I did not use any products on it. You can clearly see the difference in the wood tones where it has been wiped and where I did not touch it. Please help. How can this be fixed. :oops:

Do you know what finish is protecting the floor?
