QS, square edge, distressed, antique 5/16 solid or 3/8 engineered. Who gots it? Gotta match an old hardwood floor circa 1929. They pulled out the kitchen, laundry area and poured colored concrete now wants toi go over it to match the old floor. Nothing out of the ordinary here lol Maybe you guys have some in the shed you pulled out? Yes the old floor is simply nailed to the floor joists.

Please help. Looked at Natural reflections and a few others, couldn't see anthing old looking enough.

Nice. Nothin like a clean job. Almost sounds like it has to go in unfinished. Try to match the distressing, and s&f all areas.

Customer does not want the old floor refinished and I doubt I'd be able to match the patina on a 71 year old floor but saw a prioduct called trumble or something like that which was close! But it was 3/4 solid.

Maybe there's a good place to set a transition threshold ? Fake in a stone feature strip, or border?

Well hard to explain the layout Howard, but the concrete area is inbetween the two original hardwood areas and the concrete is level with them. Therefore the need for a low profile hardwood.

Well, you could try GRAF BROS. They make a fine engineered 1/4 sawn product, but dont know off-hand if they can go as thin as 3/8th inch. Worth a call to John there, though, he has always gone the extra mile for me.
