I have a problem its called procrastination.

Two summers ago I purchased 1200 sq ft of 5/8 teak flooring. Projects got moved around and <Cough> I am now ready to install this flooring now.

However the box store changed suppliers and I can not find this supplier anywhere. Anyone now a good place to purchase supplies online?

The first row bucks to a patio door and a vent is the 3rd or four row. So I would like to get the piece first.

If I can not find teak, what other 5/8 wood would look nice?

Basically looking for 5/8 honey teak thresholds for doorways and patio door. Should have more than enough wood the job.

But if it looks too good, I will need more wood for the 2nd floor.

Been looking at custom venting, and if I can not find teak in 5/8 or these threshold what other wood match up best?

I have an inquery in here:
http://www.classicvents.com/flushf1.htm

The teak is all over the map color wise from tan to brown with some hints of red. This is pretty close to the what the we think the floor is:

Have another inquiry at http://www.toucanteak.com/about_teak-ha ... oring.html

Note they have an image reference to the 100 boxes of lumber in acclimating in the living room for the last 2 years.

You could go with a different thickness/manufacturer/line for the second floor and keep the balance from the first floor for future repairs if needed. As far as trim pieces, they can be obtained with the second floor order too.
