Hello I'm trying to find out about the difference between water & Oil base Polyurethane. We are installing new oak unfinished cabinet in are Kitchen, I love the look of the wood, I'm trying to see also how to go about applying Polyurethane to the unfinished wood, now I would like to make it just a bit darker but I don't want to have to do a stain, is there a Polyurethane with a very light stain mixed into it also. I have tried to find info through the internet but no help there.
