I am very confused. As I would expect all manufacturers claim to have great product. I would like to know from you guys which manufacturers are the best. I would rather pay more to get quality product. I am looking for Tigerwood to put on a concrete slab.
Which company is the Chevy and which is the Benz?

Both BR-111 and WFI make great floors.

Thanks for the reply. I do not see that WFI offers Tigerwood. Am I missing something?
Have you installed the 5/16 BR111 product as a glue down on concrete?
If so, how long ago and how is it holding up.

Thanks again

I consulted and helped a gentleman install a BR-111 solid 5/16" floor over concrete. On one area, after doing some leveling (flatening), I installed a vinyl vapor barrier. Over that, he installed the BR-111 5/16" Santos Mahagony with Bostick's Best adhesive. It turned out very well with no problems. Since I was unavailable to install the vinyl vapor barrier in the other room in this guy's time frame, he used the MVP prior to installing the flooring. Both rooms are performing just fine. The key to a successful concrete install is to FLATEN the slab and use a moisture barrier as recommended by BR-111. Also, testing for vapor emmissions prior to installing or purchasing the flooring will let you know if the concrete will pose any problems.
