My father-in-law came and helped a lot on this install. He is a general contractor that has done more than a fair share of flooring installs. I have much more respect for installers now. My knees and legs are absolutely KILLING me.

This was his first experience with bamboo. Pretty much everything went well. It was honestly nice to have someone that was efficient with cutting and measuring. If I had done it myself, I would have had to triple check everything before I made any cuts.

Here are some pictures. We haven't completely finished. Not all the baseboards are up and there is some clean up work to do. We got the entire floor down on Saturday and Sunday. A total of 600sqft.

Yes it is a floating installation. It will definately be my last glue together install too. That is a total mess. We had my father in law and myself doing the install and my wife and mother in law with damp sponges cleaning up the glue as we went.
