I agree Howard. I actually spoke to Walter over a year ago. He was going to put something together for the site. Unique, one of a kind idea. Had I remembered about his product I would have stopped in while on my way to St.Louis in September. Instead we stayed in Louisville for the weekend. Anybody watch the Pickers?

Caught up with them while staying at the Hampton Inn there.

Love that show, great article. Be a blast to meet those guys, and to be a picker. My problem is, I'd keep everything.

Yea, I received this email from Walter.....

Kentucky Flooring Co LLC Announces

Reclaimed Oak Flooring

Green Beautiful Affordable

Introducing Horse Fencing
From Some of the most Famous Thoroughbred Horse Farms in Kentucky

Own a Piece of Horse Racing History

Reclaimed wood flooring is one of the hottest trends in today's flooring market. Wood for these projects is reclaimed from a variety of sources-old barns, abandoned warehouses, even recovered from river bottoms from the turn-of-the-century logging industry-but wood from a source as unique as the horse racing industry is quite rare.

Kentucky Flooring Company LLC offers hardwood flooring reclaimed form some of the most famous thoroughbred farms in Kentucky. The flooring is a mixture of red and white oak, 3/4" thick, 4.5" wide, with an average length of 6 feet. The material is milled to industry standards, and includes a grooved underside for stress relief.

You Can be a Part of Horse Racing History!

Reclaimed flooring is growing in popularity due to it's green attributes. It represents the pinnacle of environmentally friendly flooring materials because it is recycled from other sources. Never before, however, had wood recycled from thoroughbred horse racing farms been available for this use. The flooring is a highly unique product that is both beautiful and affordable, and you can be a part of it's growth and sales. Bluegrass Plank Flooring is available by the job, or the truckload. We are currently looking for motivated people to help market this one-of-a-kind Flooring. If you have what it takes, please contact Walter Alexander at 859-539-2372 or walteralexander@insightbb.com. We look forward to hearing from you! For more product information, please visit our informational website http://bluegrassplank.com/.
