 Post subject: Recommended staple spacing for 3/4" x 3" oak

What is the recommended spacing of staple fasteners for 3/4" x 3" solid qtr sawn oak? How close to the ends should the last staple be and spacing down the length? Subfloor is t&g 3/4" x 2 1/2".

Staple within 3 inches of each end and every 8-10 inches.
