Hello everyone...this is my first post.
I have a project that involves stripping epoxy adheasive from the surface of oak flooring in a residential setting. I'm not sure of the best way to proceed...mechanical or chemical.?..
The epoxy was used to adhere carpeting to the oak flooring...The few flooring people locally I talked with think the epoxy would quickly load up any abrasive avaliable..
Any thoughts or opinions would be welcome..

I sand cured epoxy and do not get plugged paper. Uncured epoxy plugs the paper.
I would try 50 grit paper to start.

Dimabrush. An invaluable tool - attachment for a floor buffer to remove adhesive, padding fused to flooring over time ect. Even paint ( not lead ) I’ve been using it for 8 years when needed. Just flip blades periodically. New blades run a cpl hundred $. Well worth the money
