I just finished installing a Bruce engineered hardwood floor 5/16x2 1/4,
was moving the new refrig. into the kitchen on the new floor and put some serious dents and scratces in it. Here's the question, how do I replace individual pieces and not the whole floor from that point on? Any help or advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

Cut the individual boards out and pull the remaining staples. A roto-zip comes in handy, after you double rip the length with a circular saw.

Then you cut the bottom off the groove side on bothe the end and length.

Hey Floorguy, thanks for the tip. One more question, when putting the last piece of the puzzle back together, do I have to face nail this piece or is there another way without showing the nails?(adhesive?)If I do have to face nail this piece, how do I cover up the nails? O.K., that's two questions.
