i am uncovering the original hard wood floor in my home which is about 55 yrs old. it has been carpeted for about 50yrs. The floor appears to be in good shape I am not sure what to do with it now. it has a shine from the previous years of wax and is clean but what do I do with it to keep it nice and preserved?I am not up to stripping the entire floor. Thanks

Have a Perfessional come and look at it. probably could use a buff and coat to freshen the sheen...quick easy process. could be in and out in a couple hours (pending on size) with little dust. hope this helps
