i have a price of 4.70 sq ft for 3inch rift and quatered clear red oak is this a good price or does anyone know of a place around bartlett illinois 60103 zip where i could do better thanks ken

prefinished or unfinished? for an unfinished I would say thats competitve, for prefinished I would say thats a little too cheap(watch out).

I just bought unfinished 2 1/4 inch select, quarter-sawn red oak for $4.49/sq.ft.
So, your price is right in there . . . . as Kevin said, for unfinished.
