Hi all,

I'm moving back into a house I've been renting out and the top finish of the hardwoods are scratched. I plan to "screen and coat" them with an Oreck Orbiter I own.

I bought some Bona Traffic HD as it seems to be the best water based polyurethane (I have little kids). It seems rolling it on is the easiest for someone who hasn't done this before. What kind of roller should I buy? I know Bona makes one, but didn't know if there was another suitable that Lowes or Sherwin Williams carries.

After looking around, I bought this one. 1/4" Mohair. "For ultra smooth surfaces" Will it work?

I also got this pad for the edges.

Thanks for any help.

Well, I would recommend that you use a Bona roller for the application of this type of varnish, making smooth and fluid movements.
I hope I was able to help you, see you soon.
