What doyou use for routing a 'groove' when installing borders? I have been looking around and have not found the ONE? Thanks for any thoughts.

You will need to locate a hardwood flooring distributor near you. These are places that typically sell only to dealers and contractors but some do sell to the general public. They should have a grooving bit for your router.
OR; go to:

Scroll to bottom of page for "Top Mounted Bearing Slot Cutters".

We love these because you can use them right on the floor to groove pieces that have already been fastened down. No shipping charges and they ship fast.

HOLY FREAKIN MOLY! 20 bucks for a top bearing slot cutter????

I paid 60 bucks for an easy groove.

Thanks for the link,DC!

I have 2 dozen Shaw bits I got in a bankruptcy buyout deal. My 1/8 is almost worn out. I will be contacting the mlcs folks.

I had looked and looked and looked and never found them on google.

Thanks again for the heads up.

Chuck.

We're in PA (where mlcs is out of) and somehow got on their snail-mail catalog list. Probably would never have found these otherwise.
