I have put down 350 sq ft of red oak in my dinning room and office area this past week. My next step is to sand. I am going to sand the kitchen floor that joins the dinning room and office. My question is about the correct machine to use. The wood in the kitchen runs the length of the room, however the adjoining room the wood runs the width. The Kitchen is 15 x 10 ,a long enough run that I would feel comfortable using the drum. The adjoining dinning and office rooms are 10x 13 and 13 x 15. I am concerned about the drum sander in these tight rooms. Would a different type of machine be better for this. Thanks for the advice.
