How many have checked out the Mr Sandless system ? They refinish floors they say in 4-6 hours without sanding. Interested in opinions.

It's simply a "recoat". I've been doing it for 25+ years. If they're not buffing, then they are using a cleaning and bonding system similar to Basic's "Tycote" system. Might even be Basic's "Tycote" system. Nothing wrong with it.

Will a recoat make the floor look uniform?
I have a custy that has an area rug on the
floor. The wood underneath the rug is lighter
than the rest. Will a recoat make the floor
uniform again or does he need to sand and
refinish?

Thanks
Joe

Simply put, the answer is no, a recoat will not help with the color difference of the flooring. It will make it look "fresh" and add an additional layer of protection, thus, prolonging the life of the floors.

Gary,
Can you recommend anything for getting the floor color uniform again?
Thanks
Joe

Remove the rug and allow the flooring that was under the rug to eventually catch up in color to the flooring around it. Depending on the wood species and finish used, this could take a month to six months.
