Which one of these lines would you guys prefer quality wise? Shaw Golden Opportunity and Bellingham or Bruce Manchester saddle?

Solid or engineered? Depends, Shaw makes an engineered that has an HDF core instead of plywood.

Probably similar, nothing to write home about considering they're sold in the big box stores. I'd call them average.

I'd agree w/ Ken - both lower grades of solid wood and have lots of shorts and knots.

Between the 2, I'd probably go with the one where you like the color best and one w/ lower sheen level (as it's more stylish/will show scratches less).
