When the customer orders the wood (dont even get me into that mess) Not the customers problem but the company they ordered it from Shhhhheeeesh LOL.

So when your 1200 ft of rustic american cherry has 46 feet of common maple in it and you will run short if you dont use it, and be 3 weeks behind (again milling @ the manufacturer) what do you do? Use it and make a simplistic design to make the customer feel so much better about thier flooring descion :)

Thank you, and on a side note I was wondering (since I gater you are the resident inspector) Can nofma or something be contacted about the actual wood itself? Or do they just do installations? Ill shoot you a PM if they can, Im not gonna break the rules around here with the linking to other companies :lol:

Not to revive an old subject but I have went as far as to track down the same material myself, buy it, and not even bother the customer with the trouble. Especially for anything under 100'
