I was just reading some old post, when I came across someone who is suggesting it's possible to . . .
EDGE WITHOUT BACK FATIGUE. It sure is!go to http://flickr.com/photos/procomfort/

I've been edging this way for over two years. . . . wouldn't have it any other way. Just let the machine do the work. When i'm done drumming, I'm ready for a break. . . . Also, you'll notice I like to see what I'm edging. dan @pro

Wow, I started edging at the age of 13... Needless to say, I sure wish I would have known of such a convenient little tool. Also I heard rumors of an edger that could be used while standing when I was a teenager, but I'm not sure if that really exists. I find it hard to believe that you could control one of those crazy things without being close down to the ground.

Also, having a "toe-kick" edger to get under those cabinet toe-kicks would have been nice. We always ended up scraping whatever the regular edger couldn't reach. The only thing that will make you actually WANT to run an edger, is SCRAPING. Good Times!!!
