Bellawood 3/4. Hey, sometimes you gotta put down what the customer provides. It was actually not bad to deal with.

Having trouble with camera, so these are phone pics.

I'm hoping to get the camera situation figured out soon. Much better pics on there.

I believe it was Floorguy who posted how he did his treads. That's how these were done.
Cutting and dry-fitting, then top nailing the back row to hold it in place before pulling the other rows out. Then squirting a little PL400 under that row before blind-nailing. The rest were glued and blind-nailed, along with the risers.

The HO comes down next month for the winter, I'll be doing the upstairs soon after.

Nice job Keith. So how's business down there? Bob tells me our old reps are starving. Btw, he's now working for USA flooring removal.

Business is s-l-o-w down here.
Just got back from my sisters in Steamboat Springs. She flew me out to do her floor. I couldn't believe the construction going on out there. Kinda like it was here four years ago. May be time to relocate. Get this, you don't even have to be licensed out there for a lot of construction work, like remodeling. You're okay as long as you pass inspections.

I may need to get ahold of Bob soon. Hoping to have a job lined up with 1800 sq' of tile to be ripped up.

Did you get the email I sent you yesterday?

Yes hopefully Ken will keep it up and running if he sells out... er I mean sells Uptown Floors. Maybe the new owner will.

SP:

The guy above is a link monkey. You can't see it in the text. However I can if I edit his stuff. People trying new tricks all the time. PIA keeping up with it. This site will reman but not as exciting as 15 years ago. Traffic down 80% All small sites have been hammered by the Gorg over the years if you can find them after the ads.

Uptown website traffic is down 73% in five years, but sales continue to climb. Naturally one has to pay for it. Doesn't bother me anymore. Good little one man business.
