ok so im about to move into a new house soon. The hardwood colors in the house is oak i believe is the right word (picture here http://www.scotiaflooring.ca/oak-millru ... ooring.jpg)

I want to soon change the color to this http://www.futureflooring.ca/Shop/image ... Walnut.jpg , anyone know what this color is called?

Also my main question is how would this process be done by professionals? Is it even possible to change colors?

the floor ahs to be sanded down to bare wood (if possible) then restained to what ever color you want. thats either dark walnut or ebony one. Just fyi staining a floor that dark will require a good sand job and will be hard to keep clean.
