Been I while since Ive hung out, but things finally slowed down a bit. That spiral staircase kicked my ass!!!
OK, so I found this 8 inch belt hummel on Ebay, in chicago. Looks like it could go for under 3 grand. I was the leading bidder at 2100 ttill today, as there is less than a day left on the thing. I havent seen one go for under 4 on Ebay, so just thought Id let yall know.
IM happy with my Orebro 10 inch, truly a swedish masterpiece. Its just that my 5 horsepower leeson motor spins a torquy 2250 rpm and the 4 hp german beast "hummel" spins a mean 2500. Plus the lesser surface area for one pass clean ups on Refinishes, damn I wanted that for a second!!! Oh well, anyway if you live in the area its a super good deal.
