Like the title says, I'm planning on finishing the basement floor, but in some places, the job was very badly done, and the cement is very thin, cracked in some places, and even small chips gone in 1 place.

What would be the best way to do a subfloor on this kind of cement?

The particular area where there is very thin cement will see some rather heavy weights and somewhat regular trafic.

Thanks,
David

A pumped in self leveler, like ARDEX K-15, if the moisture vapor emissions will allow it.

Just found the manufacturer's site! Looks like great stuff.

Anyone know where to find this product in eastern Canada (Quebec)?
