Same thoughts. I contacted those dudes seeing if they could send some stuff that I could work with. Phone probably works better eh?

Should get some rolls in a few days. I actually got some positive feedback from a Titebond rep. Probably because she's in the marketing department. No concrete applications to work with in Detroit...so far. Plenty of solid 3/4 inch board replacements though. I'm real curious how this stuff works as it can eliminate top nailing. I've watched Daniel Boone replacing boards and one thing that never sat right with me was he always used epoxy which has no give/expansion properties.

Naturally you'll see a video or two or ten...on what it can do...

Holding out on the source? Franklin International. I also heard there will be an adhesive type in the big caulk gun tube coming (I have samples of that too) out that will compete with the PL brand. The tape is pretty darn thin as I wondered about that in using it for one sided reducers and such...IE: no gaps. Hopefully I'll have a good number of actual job video demonstrations over the next few months.

Promotional freebies...Here's the first video. I could have used it with other applications in this job, but these guys don't trust it yet.

Do you think you could nail against it without it moving? I take it thats what they did in the long version.

It doesn't move. The second row was blind nailed with a Senco finish nailer, but the third with a Bostitch 15 gauge stapler. No movement whatsoever. I'll try to get some good closeups on the next one if I can get on a regular new installation job. I can see many uses for this tape.

Yay!! I have two rolls coming down from my distributor in Phoenix. I shoulda figured they, Titebond, would not distribute to box or hardware stores. It's flooring distributors only.

So far I've only used it on some transition strips which are holding fine. Got a few planks to repair to do at the end of the month.

I'm thinking about just putting down some planks on the concrete in my garage and on some plywood first just to see how it holds. Where's your video you were going to do?

Never got a job to do it on. More video is on hold. I'm back stuck in the sticks. So I have five rolls unused

Used it on a click cork repair yesterday, seemed to grab well. Gotta be extra careful of dust. Tack it and let dry, then apply it. I also glued the edges with Titebond and weighted it down so I'm think this one will never break loose.

Oh, on a floater don't peel off the paper that rests on the underlayment. :)
