Hi everyone,
I have a Torleys floor that is bucking. It looks like installation was too tight and is pushing up against wall trim. I think I can fix it but need a special tool that uses double sided tape from Torleys.

Here: https://residential.torlys.com/accessories/bulldog/

Is there a generic version of this tool that I can get? They want 300 dollars for this one.

Thanks,
Matt

Update on this:

I found another tool that a bit cheaper, called the uniclick repair tool, its about hald price at 150.

alternatively all im going to use is a block of aluminum and a mallet. The key is to get the right tape. From seraching this forum i read that:

Scapa 274/NAT225 274 Double Coated Cloth Carpet Tape: 2" x 75 ft, Natural
is the stuff to buy and is available on amazon or home depot.

thanks

If you can decide where the last row is. Remove one plank row, after the trim is removed. Rip the boards a quarter to a half inch less in width and re-install. Add the trim and the floor ought to be good from now on.
