Hey guys, floors only been in for few years. Its 1 5/8 width white oak with a 5 inch brazilian cherry border laid on top of 4 ply cdx plywood . I used bona natural stain and bona satin traffic for the finish. We had some water come in from an ice dam this week there was a puddle on the floor about 2 feet x 1 foot. I soaked up the water and fixed the water problem.
The floor is cupping slightly and the seams are raised where the boards meet. I turned off the humidifier in our home is there a possibility the boards will go back to normal shape? Or will i have to cut the section out and refinish the area?
I can post pics if you'd like but it's hard to see.
Thanks Nick
