do I have or can you not tell by pics? I also want to get them redone and don't know if it is called refinishing or restoring. I don't know anything LoL

Looks like pine. Refinishing or restore is pretty much the same thing. Restore is ment to bring back to ORIGINAL color and finish.

one more thing what about the spaces between the panels will that be fixed also?

I don't advise filling the gaps between boards, unless it is in the humidity of summer and they are still there.

If you fill them and the floor swells, it will push the filler up and out of the gaps. Now it is top coated with finish and the combination of a ridge and sharp finish, can cut the bujesus out of your feet.
