SLOW speed. 175 to 180 RPM. NOT a polisher.

Yea Sk, Clarke will get their act together sometime. A polisher is a can be slow speed. Remember the little Hoover and Bissell dual head polishers for homeowners to buff wax? Those were slow speed. In the pro lines, polishers are mostly high speed, around 1000 rpm. Slow speed buffers are sometimes called sanders when the buffer is specifically designed for wood floors. Clarke uses this terminology. The good thing about Clarke's are: the buffers don't die. Mine's 15 yrs old, beat to hell, replaced some exterior parts (wheels, screws, etc.) and the sucker still keeps on going. Did you ever figure out how to convert yours to dustless for a vacumm?
