I am installing floating floors and I ran into the following problem. I removed the carpet in my livingroom and I found the following wall fasteners on the outside walls:

There are about 10 in total, but about half of them are actually higher than the concrete... so they would restrict the movement of floating floor. They come far enough out from the wall that I can't just put molding or them and cover them up and I dont want to even try and shave down the bottom of my boards. I know I can't just pull them out and I have tried to use a sledgehammer to flatten them, but they are too close to the wall and I can't really swing the hammer without putting a hole in the wall. Does anyone know of any way I can flatten these out? Any suggestions?

Use a heavy piece of steel bar or pipe and hit that with your sledge hammer so as not to damage the walls. They should flatten out well enough to lay a floater over
