I am in the process of installing solid 3” x ¾” Brazilian cherry. What is the best polyurethane to use on this type wood. I have read conflicting info on the web, some say oil based other say water. Please let me know your experience with these finishes on Brazilian cherry. Also which sealer and brands did you use?
Thanks for your help!!

I'd follow Dale's advice. He may be cocky but the boy knows his finishes.
