I am beginning a search for hardwood flooring in my NE Texas home. Can anyone give me a short list of things to look for in quality flooring? I've read some postings here and have found them to be very informative. Perhaps there was a question in the past similar to this one that I could reference. If so, please draw my attention to it.

Links to helpful websites that contain FAQs would be welcomed.

Take into consideration that I am a novice regarding wood flooring, so if my questions seem a little broad, I hope you will forgive me.

Thanks.
Martha

...and on the Home Page. Click the first six links in the middle. They'll lead to more page links--with LOTS of pictures and easy to understand text.

Thanks for the comments. I made the mistake of posting this question BEFORE I actually investigated the site. Lots of information here. Thanks. I will keep reading and probably post again later.
