Planning to install naildown hardwood ourselves. Need some advice on how we install the floor once we work our way from the hall into the great room. We are confused as to how to work our way backwards toward the back wall. A friend has suggested glueing in a spline in the grooved end and then proceeding backwards - is that the preferred way? Anyone have any experience with that -- how are the results??
