Did a weave in repair with some Br-111 engineered.
Got everything prepped and now I go and pull a board out of the carton, and the ends are reverse milled?? Say what? The tongue and groove are switched on the new wood, compared to what is there now.

What a pain!!!

Engineered BR-111 has a paper thin top layer.

That would be a DOUBLE pain

Flooring 101 on lace ins....Check out the wood before you prep!

It's my opinion manufacturers commonly change the design of their floors to require an entire floor to be replaced, instead of repaired. This is not the only reason but I am sure it is a consideration.

Ahh but then ya gotta flip the board over too, and of course, throw on some shiny stuff.
