Hello all - I have a 1 x 10 yellow pine floor I'm about to install in a powder room. I was wondering what opinions you all have on how to fasten it? I was planning on using 2 - 1" plugs per joist. I have a bunch of walnut left over from another floor job. Someone told me I might want to try blind nailing, then finishing, then installing cut nails after. Well, I'm open for ideas.....
Also, if I plug, should I cut my own from the walnut or is there a place I can find ebony or walnut dowels for end grains?

Thanks in advance!!
Erik
